Abstract
This study explores moral and religious values in Khuswant Singh and shoping human moral and religious. This novel is seen as the portrait of human moral and religious values, especially in india society. This is a qualitative study where the primary data is the novel Train to Pakistan, and secondary data are collected from social writings the authors biography. This study employs literary sociology proposed by Wellek and Werren. This study focuses on moral values through compassion and justice, and religious values through tolerance and forgiveness. Which are seen through characters Juggut Singh, Nooran and Iqbal. This study concludes that Khuswant Singh through novel Train to Pakistan vividly potraits the importance of moral and religious values to promote justice and forgiveness in an increasingly fragmented world and to guide people towards a more just compassionate existance.
