Abstract
Indonesia still faces challenges in achieving gender equality, especially in terms of women's self-persistence in the face of social limitations. This study aims to identify the forms of women's self-persistence in Nicola Yoon's novel Everything, Everything along with their impact. This study uses a narrative qualitative methodology with the novel as the main source along with a few other secondary sources. The theory used is feminist psychological proposed by Braunschweig which emphasizes how women's experiences are influenced by social structures and how women's self-persistence develops in the face of social and psychological pressures. The study finds the following: 1) Several depiction of women's self-persistence in the face of limitations, both in terms of health, social, and family in the novel, and 2) the impact of this resilience on freedom in making decisions and forming self-identity.
